Watercolor Birthday card set

Hello there crafty friends!

I wanted to share this special set with all of you. I had in my stash a blank watercolor paper card set that I KNEW I needed to paint but could not figure out what with.

My awesome creative husband suggested birthday cards. And I thought “Ok I can totally do that.”

Thinking of coordinating images I created this set which I really adore.

From the top left image you can see an arrow card, a birthday candles card, a dripping rainbow card, a large flower with vines card and finally a feather card.

To give them a cohesive look I used similar colors and they are all accented with sequins and spritzes. To hold all the cards and coordinating envelopes I created a card box, seen in the last image above.

SUPPLIES:

  • Watercolor card set with envelopes: my stash
  • Darice sequins: Dream sequins
  • LuminArt watercolor paints
  • Sentiment stamp: Fiskars Simple Expressions
  • Patterned cardstock by Recollections
  • Card-Tainers template: Papers by Catherine #TP-3

This card set was so much fun to create and I look forward to using more original artwork on future cards. I believe it makes the card that much more meaningful and special.

This card set is available at the etsy shop!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope this post sparked some creativity!

Until next time XoXo
