Another Scrappy Love Card

Hi there crafty friends!

Not sure what it is about my paper scraps that makes me think of making love cards?? Maybe because like these cards, love is mostly a hodgepodge of two people’s scraps all mended together to create perfect unity ❤ (Aren’t I such a romantic?)

Well…. because my supplies were mostly inherited I have many random items that I feel I need to use or they will sit around unloved for ages. Here I combined floral paper that I punched tags out of with a gingham patterned sticker border that looks like real fabric ribbon but is actually paper!

I was excited to use my cropadile which I don’t often use to make the eyelet hanging holes for the tags.

I also created an additional card using the leftover tags and accented them with a piece of glitter paper that I just could not toss. So happy I was ably to use that! As well as a blank textures blank 5×7″ card base that I had sitting around waiting to be dressed.

The Pink and gold twine was a retail item I picked up somewhere long ago and I truly do not remember what brand it is! Possibly from Target dollar section but I can’t say for sure. Either way I think the scraps used to create these two lovely 5×7″ cards worked out quite well.

Since I used old scraps I unfortunately cannot create a supplies list but I will list the tools I used to make both cards.

  • EK Success tag punch and mini heart punch
  • We R Memory Keepers Cropadile
  • Making Memories pewter eyelets
  • ScorTape
  • GlueDots
  • Elmer’s Craft Bond

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope this post sparked some creativity.

Until next time! XoXo
