Hello my crafty friends!
It was a beautiful weekend and I hope you all enjoyed some free time doing whatever it is that makes your hearts happy.
For this Margarita Monday I am repurposing scrap paper from an old notebook I once gave to my son when he was practicing how to hold and use writing utensils.
I did not want to throw away all those sheets of paper with his little baby doodles and I also needed a new paper pad for lists and notes. So this worked out well.
This was a pretty simple project and did not take too long to complete. I was not aiming for a perfect little book. Instead I wanted it to be cute, transportable and functional.
The final result is the size of an A2 sized greeting card. In fact, I used a blank A2 card as the cover for this little book.
Below you can see the full tutorial of how quickly and easily this notebook came together. With more focus on straight edges and lined staples, this project can be used to create adorable functional favors, gifts or personal note pads and journals.
- Precut and folded blank A2 Card – Recollections (5 1/2 x 4 1/4″)
- Scrap notebook paper
- Scarp paper from previously made cards
- Journal Stickers – 7 Gypsies
- Stanley Bostitch Long-reach stapler
- Elmer’s craft bond
- Glossy accents
- Westcott nonstick KleenEarth Scissors
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and even decide to try it out your self. Have a great week!
Until next time XoXo!
